Cities are composed of more than just buildings and people. The most liveable cities are also known for their green and outdoor spaces (such as parks, gardens, green plazas etc.). Moreover, John Ruskin argues that ‘The measure of any great civilisation is in its cities, and a measure of a city’s greatness is to be found in the quality of its public spaces, its parks and its squares.’ Thus green space must be a key consideration in urban planning, amounting for numerous health benefits and contributing to the livelihood of a part of a city or neighbourhood. Agorapolis takes pride in designing a total of 50 ha of green spaces, working with both the public and private sector.
